When you meet a woman walking on the side of the road in our village, there is a 70% chance she is without a husband. If she is not a widow, she has been abandoned due to her husband leaving her to find work and never returning. It happens all the time in Theri, Kenya. We care about these women. Our goal is to restore their dignity and their hope by providing job creation, skills training AND most importantly give them a community rooted in Christ. Most of these women are raising their children alone, so we are seeking solutions where they can work from home and build income through creative business endeavors.
